At Yale University, busting balls, or "hazing", is often used by the secret society known as the Order of Skull and Bones as a method to encourage group fealty and esprit de corps through the shared suffering of its applicants. In this .WAV clip from 1967 George W. Bush, the man who will become the forty-third president of the United States, has donned a dress and blond wig during a hazing incident as he extols his cohorts to "put him in a straight-jacket and give him an enema!" It is still unclear why Bush chose to put on a dress and wig in this situation.
